Hi! I'm Chantelle, the founder of The ThriveWell Hub. Hope you've been enjoying The 'Hub so far. It's meant to do what it says on the tin-- help you thrive well. And what does that mean? Stop and think about how much overwhelm life brings - do we even stop to think about prioritising ourselves? I know for a long time I considered heading to my gym as prioritising myself, and don't get me wrong, it is (partially)! But I wasn't thinking about my whole self.
At one point I realised I needed to look at what I was (or in this case) wasn't doing to take care of my emotional and mental wellbeing . I knew I needed something because I was regularly feeling tired (tick) anxious (tick) overwhelmed (tick tick) and stuck in a rut. And by weekend? Just plain exhausted. So, I started where any self-care explorer would start - Googling my heart out, keeping my ear to the ground for any word of mouth self care recommendations and over the years, jumped into and out of holistic workshops, therapies, and mindfulness practices. An ex called it my "hippie tapas" era (I turned my nose up at that at the time - associating with the term 'hippie'?! No way. but actually... he wasn't far wrong tbh).
But finding the right practices and people? A lot of work. And if it was alot of searching for me, i was sure I wasn't alone. That’s why 'The ThriveWell Hub' was born. When you reach that moment of knowing something mentally, physically or emotionally needs to shift, you don’t want to waste energy figuring out where to start.
