Themes You’ll Find in Mindful Matters
Each bi-weekly newsletter edit or collaboration will focus on one emotional theme, rotating through:
Overwhelm & Mental Load - When life feels like too much and you need breathing room
Anxiety & Nervous Energy - When you're restless, on edge, or tense
Loneliness & Craving Connection - When you feel isolated, disconnected, or seeking warmth
Relationship with Self & Others- When you're learning to choose ;yourself while staying open, honest and connected to the people who matter
Burnout & Deep Tiredness - When your body and mind are exhausted and need recharging
Transition, Reflection & Reset - Moments of change, introspection, or clarity
Curious & Open - When you want to explore, try something new, play
Energised & Wanting More - When you feel good and want to amplify that energy
Life doesn't simply move in a straight line- it has it’s cycles. Some weeks you're burnt out. Some weeks you're anxious. Some weeks you're navigating transition.
I want the Wellness Edit to move with you. Every fortnight, I focus on one of these six emotional themes - but the context, the time of year, and the recommendations will always keep it fresh.

A woman’s guide to becoming her strongest, healthiest, happiest self
A powerful new book created from one simple truth, “women deserve more than coping”.
“Restoration’. This book explores restoration as a gentle, personal journey for Jackie Ngu (Saffron24.co.uk) of rebuilding strength across body, mind, hormones, relationships, and identity, inviting women to reconnect with themselves and redefine wellbeing.
Copenhagen’s boss Sha-woman
We spoke to Bianca Broberg, Shawoman from Copenhagen about her work in the industry and she enlightens us what it means to be an energy healer
Why we love her: She is incredibly down-to-earth! The first time we met, we spent 4 hours together. This lady is unapologetically real! Read on for more about her and how she is working in this fascinating practice.
Want to know what goes into my newsletter curation?
It starts with featuring what I've personally tried, been recommended from the community or deeply researched. If it wouldn't help my best friend, it doesn't make the edit.
I also prioritise and value:
Emotional benefit comes first: This is where I ask: "What emotional state does this address?" Not "Is this trendy?" but "Does this actually help when you're anxious, burnt out, lonely, joyful or happy?"
Trauma-informed over performative: Does this feel safe for someone who's struggling? I’ll be prioritising gentle, invitational language. Options for modification. Emphasis on consent and choice. No "push through!" or "no excuses!" energy. That’s not conducive to self care when you’re struggling.
Accessible where possible: I consider price (and want to include low-cost and free options regularly), location (not just located in central London Zone 1), timing (not everything at 6am), and experience level (beginners genuinely welcome).
No gimmicks or pseudoscience: If there's no evidence or lived wisdom behind it, I'm not recommending it. You may find manifestation workshops here but they need to be practices with real mechanisms for support.
Small edits is my vibe for you: I curate, I don't list. You'll get 3-5 picks per fortnight, not 50. To me, less is more/constraint creates clarity.
And yes, you could ask ChatGPT for a list of London wellness options. But ChatGPT can't tell you which teacher holds space for tears 😭, which studio feels safe when you're anxious🥺, or which sound bath is really worth £25 vs. the one that's just `vibes and a gong’.
I can. Because I'm out there experiencing it for you and my community has experienced it, and we’ll tell you what’s worth your time.
You deserve guidance you can actually trust.
